Three SME IPOs Acme India Industries, TNA Solutions, and Paramount Syntex Debut on Exchanges to Raise Over Rs 241 Crore

The Indian SME exchange platform saw fresh activity on Friday, October 9, 2026, with the market debuts of three initial public offerings (IPOs): Acme India Industries Limited, TNA Solutions Limited, and Paramount Syntex Limited. Together, the three small and medium enterprises mobilised roughly Rs 241 crore from primary market participants.

The three issues captured varying degrees of investor appetite, reflecting selective bidding across manufacturing niches ranging from railway infrastructure interiors to specialized textiles.

Acme India Industries Limited

Acme India Industries stood out as the largest offering among the trio, raising Rs 121.69 crore. The offering comprised a fresh issue of 54.07 lakh equity shares worth Rs 105.98 crore alongside an offer for sale (OFS) of 8.02 lakh shares totalling Rs 15.71 crore. The company fixed its final issue price at the upper ceiling of Rs 196 per equity share, against a price band of Rs 186 to Rs 196 per share.

Investor demand for Acme India was exceptionally robust, concluding with an overall subscription of 124.23 times. The non-institutional investor (NII) segment drove the heavy bidding, subscribing 196.27 times their allocated quota, alongside strong participation from qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) and retail investors.

Incorporated in late 2021, the company designs, manufactures, and supplies railway coach interiors, including turnkey furnishing and components for Indian Railways, and has secured contracts for Vande Bharat train sets. Net proceeds from the fresh issue will be directed towards funding working capital requirements, purchasing plant and machinery, and debt repayment.

TNA Solutions Limited

Indore-based home textile maker TNA Solutions tapped the SME platform to raise Rs 37.86 crore. The book-built issue offered 54.08 lakh shares at the upper price band of Rs 70 per share (price band Rs 66 to Rs 70 per share), with a lot size of 2,000 shares.

The issue drew considerable interest from domestic participants, closing with an overall subscription of approximately 55.20 times. The company attracted attention in part due to its backing from veteran value investor Anil Kumar Goel, who held a 14.17% pre-IPO stake.

The company plans to deploy the proceeds towards expanding operations and scaling its manufacturing capabilities in value-added textile products.

Paramount Syntex Limited

Paramount Syntex, an established yarn and synthetic fibre manufacturer based out of Punjab, entered the bourse after raising Rs 81.79 crore. The issue was structured entirely as a fresh issuance of 64.40 lakh equity shares priced at Rs 127 per share, within a band of Rs 119 to Rs 127 per share.

Unlike Acme India, Paramount Syntex witnessed measured participation, closing with an overall subscription of 1.88 times. Trading in the scrip will be placed under the trade-for-trade segment for the initial 10 trading sessions in accordance with SEBI risk-containment guidelines. The proceeds will be channelled primarily into expanding the company's existing production facility and supporting working capital needs.

Key Takeaways for Investors:

  • Capital Deployment: Fresh capital raised across the listings will largely flow into capacity expansions and working capital rather than purely promoter exits.
  • Selective Bidding: Even amid broad enthusiasm in SME counters, institutional and high-net-worth investors showed clear discrimination based on sector tailwinds, rewarding railway infrastructure suppliers over traditional textile spinning mills.
  • Liquidity and Trading Restrictions: SME listings, particularly those in the trade-for-trade category, trade in predefined lot sizes and face stricter circuit limits, requiring retail market participants to carefully manage entry and exit risks.
