Free Indian stock market and EV sales widgets for your website
Add live, auto-updating Indian market and vehicle-registration data to a blog, newsletter archive, class page, auto or EV site, or investing club site. Copy the code, paste it into any HTML block, and the widget refreshes itself. It is free with no sign-up; please keep the attribution line.
How to add a widget (about 2 minutes)
Download the step-by-step guide (PDF, 6 pages): the same steps with pictures, to keep or forward to whoever looks after your website.
- Copy the code. Press Copy code under the widget you want below.
- Paste it where your site accepts HTML:
- WordPress: in the post or page editor click +, choose Custom HTML, paste, then Update. For a sidebar: Appearance → Widgets, add a Custom HTML block, paste, Save.
- Blogger: Layout → Add a Gadget → HTML/JavaScript, paste, Save. Inside a post: switch the editor to HTML view and paste.
- Wix: Add Elements (+) → Embed Code → Embed HTML, paste, then drag the box to about 420 × 340.
- Google Sites: Insert → Embed → Embed code, paste, Next, Insert.
- Ghost: click +, choose the HTML card, paste.
- Any other site: paste it into the page's HTML where the widget should appear.
- Publish. That's all. The numbers update themselves; you never need to change the code.
Dark site? In the code, change the widget address to end in ?theme=dark.
Narrow sidebar (under 340 px)? Change height="340" to height="440".
Substack, Medium and LinkedIn don't allow live widgets (some WordPress.com plans remove them too). Post a chart instead: every Vahan report has a chart card you can save and use as an image, with a link back to the report.
