Delivered quantity as a share of total traded quantity across the whole cash market, last 60 sessions. Rising delivery share means more of the day's turnover was positional rather than intraday.

Questions

What does delivery percentage mean?

The share of a day's traded quantity that was actually settled into demat accounts rather than squared off intraday. NSE publishes it per security in its end-of-day bhavcopy. A high figure means more of the turnover was positional.

Is a high delivery percentage bullish?

By itself, no — it is direction-free. High delivery on a rising price and high delivery on a falling price mean opposite things, which is exactly why this page crosses delivery with the price move instead of ranking delivery alone.

Why compare to a 20-session average instead of a fixed threshold?

Because the normal level differs enormously by stock. A large-cap that routinely settles 70% delivered is unremarkable at 72%; a high-churn mid-cap that normally settles 18% is doing something unusual at 40%. A flat "above 50% is high" rule would flag the first and miss the second.

Which stocks are included?

Every NSE cash-market security in the EQ, BE, BZ, SM and ST series with at least ₹1 crore of turnover on the day and ten sessions of stored history. Below that, a delivery ratio is a handful of trades and the label would be noise.
