💰 FII & DII Money Flow
Every site prints today's FII and DII numbers. A single day's flow is noise — what matters is the running total, the direction of the streak, and whether the two sides are pulling against each other. That is what this page shows.
🧭 Institutional flow regime — Both buying
Foreign and domestic institutions were both net buyers over the last five sessions — the broadest form of institutional demand.
Running totals
Net cash-market flow summed over each window, with the Nifty 50's own return over the same period. Read them together: heavy foreign selling into a rising index means somebody else was absorbing it.

Cumulative flow
Running sum of daily net flows since our records begin. The SLOPE is the message — a falling line is persistent selling regardless of where the line sits.

Session detail
Gross buy and sell values, not just the net — a small net on large gross volumes is a different session from a small net on a quiet day.

Questions
What is the difference between FII and DII?
FII (foreign institutional investor, now formally FPI) means overseas funds investing in Indian markets. DII (domestic institutional investor) covers Indian mutual funds, insurers, banks and pension funds. NSE publishes their combined cash-market buy and sell values every trading day.
Does FII selling mean the market will fall?
Not reliably. Domestic institutions have been the other side of foreign selling for much of the last few years, and the index has risen through long stretches of net FII outflow. This page shows both sides and the index return over the same window precisely so the relationship can be judged rather than assumed.
Is this cash-market data or does it include derivatives?
Cash market only. NSE reports FII derivative positions separately, and those are on our participant positioning page.
Why do the numbers differ from other websites?
Different sites use different NSE reports — the provisional figure published in the evening is revised later, and some sites add BSE and MSEI. We use NSE's own FII/DII trading-activity report and state the session date on the page.
How to read this page. Everything here is a description of data the exchange has already published — it is not a forecast, a recommendation, or a signal to buy or sell. Labels such as "accumulation", "short buildup" or "support" name a pattern in the numbers, nothing more.
