Moneyview Sets IPO Price Band at ₹32-34 per Share, Targeting ₹5,985 Crore Valuation in Trimmed Public Offer

Digital lending platform Moneyview (formerly Whizdm Innovations) has fixed the price band for its initial public offering (IPO) at ₹32 to ₹34 per equity share. At the upper end of the price corridor, the Bengaluru-based fintech is seeking an implied market valuation of up to ₹5,985 crore (approximately $623.89 million), reflecting a more conservative market approach after the company significantly trimmed the size of its public issue.

The public issue is scheduled to open for subscription on September 24, 2026, and will conclude on September 28, 2026. Bidding for anchor investors will take place on September 23, 2026, with shares expected to list on both the BSE and NSE on October 1, 2026.

Revised Issue Structure and Regulatory Route

Moneyview's initial public offering will raise a total of approximately ₹1,092 crore. This comprises:

  • Fresh Issue: ₹750 crore, reduced by half from the ₹1,500 crore originally outlined in its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed in March 2026.
  • Offer for Sale (OFS): Up to 10.05 crore equity shares, aggregating to ₹342 crore at the upper end of the price band, scaled down from the initially planned 13.61 crore shares.

The company reduced the fresh issue size following an amendment submitted to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on September 3, which was cleared on September 10. The adjustment made use of regulatory provisions that allow companies to trim fresh issue sizes by up to 50% without requiring a complete refiling of draft papers.

Among selling shareholders, institutional backers including Accel (which holds a 21.89% stake), Tiger Global (13.79%), Ribbit Capital, and Crimson Winter scaled down the volume of shares offered for sale. Apis Partners withdrew from the OFS entirely. Promoters and co-founders Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal retained their planned offload of up to 13.55 million shares each.

Objectives of the Issue

From the ₹750 crore raised via the fresh issue, Moneyview has earmarked capital for core credit expansion and capital adequacy requirements:

  • Default Loss Guarantee (DLG) arrangements: ₹325 crore will be deployed to support loan disbursals through risk-sharing partnerships with lending institutions.
  • Whizdm Finance capital base: ₹250 crore will be infused into its non-banking financial company (NBFC) subsidiary to enhance lending capacity.
  • General corporate purposes: The remaining net proceeds will be allocated towards general business growth and operational requirements.

Financial Profile and Portfolio Performance

Moneyview operates a credit-led financial services marketplace covering personal loans, home loans, loans against property, and digital payments, with reach across 99% of India's postal codes and over 140 million registered users.

Financially, the company reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹3,351 crore in FY26, marking an increase of 43.3% year-on-year. Net profit after tax stood at ₹242 crore for FY26, up marginally from ₹240 crore in FY25. Loan disbursals across its platform rose 31% to ₹23,099 crore during FY26.

In the first quarter of FY27 (ended June 30, 2026), revenue reached ₹1,065 crore, while profit after tax expanded to ₹174 crore, supported by quarterly disbursements of ₹7,152 crore and total assets under management (AUM) of ₹22,520 crore.

Market Implications for Indian Investors

Key Takeaways for Dalal Street:

  • Valuation Realism: By lowering its target valuation to ₹5,985 crore ($624 million) compared to initial unlisted and DRHP estimates in the $1.8 billion to $2 billion range, Moneyview has aligned its asking price with market demand, following similar issue cuts by digital lending peers.
  • Retail Application Thresholds: Bids can be placed in lots of 441 shares, requiring a minimum retail application outlay of ₹14,994 at the upper price ceiling.
  • Lead Managers: Axis Capital, BofA Securities India, IIFL Capital Services, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company are serving as the book-running lead managers to the issue.
