📍 ACQUISITION
- Apollo Hospitals Enterprise announced its plan to acquire the remaining 31% stake held by International Finance Corporation (IFC) in its healthcare services arm, Apollo Health and Lifestyle (AHLL), for Rs 1,254 crore. This move will make AHLL a fully owned subsidiary of Apollo Hospitals.
📍 ORDER WIN / NEW PROJECT
- Adani Power has entered into a 25-year agreement with Bihar State Power Generation Company. The agreement is for the establishment of a greenfield 2,400 MW ultra supercritical thermal power plant.
📍 CORPORATE ACTION (Bonus Issue/Dividend)
- Time Technoplast has fixed September 15, 2025, as the record date for its proposed 1:1 bonus issue. Shareholders holding one fully paid-up equity share of ₹1 face value on this date will receive one additional bonus share.
- Interarch Building Solutions set September 15, 2025, as the record date for determining eligible members to receive a 125% final dividend.
📍 FUNDRAISING
- Aditya Birla Capital successfully raised Rs 3,400 crore through a private placement of secured, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The allotment involves 3.4 lakh units issued in two tranches of equal size, which will be listed on both NSE and BSE.
📍 DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Vedanta's subsidiary, Talwandi Sabo Power (TSPL), reached a settlement agreement with SEPCO Electric Power Construction Corporation. This agreement resolves long-standing disputes related to the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts for a 3x660 MW thermal power project, leading to the withdrawal of pending arbitration proceedings.

📍 REGULATORY UPDATE
- The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has implemented new UPI transaction limits, effective September 15, 2025. Limits for specific categories such as insurance premiums, capital markets, and credit card bill payments have been increased to Rs 5 lakh per transaction, with daily limits up to Rs 10 lakh for some. Regular person-to-person UPI transaction limits remain unchanged at Rs 1 lakh.
