IPO listing gain estimator
Enter how many times each investor category subscribed an IPO and get our AI model's estimate of its listing-day gain, its highest point on the first day and the chance it lists above the issue price, plus the past IPOs with the most similar demand. It uses today's market conditions.
How to read the estimate
Listing gain is the expected opening price on listing day against the issue price, with the likely range holding the middle 60% of outcomes. Max gain on day 1 is how high the stock may trade during its first session. Chance of a gain is the probability of opening above the issue price.
Use final subscription figures (after bidding closes) for the most meaningful estimate; early-day figures understate demand because most institutional and HNI bids arrive on the last day. The estimate does not know about news, grey-market activity or a sharp market move on listing day.
Across 426 listed IPOs scored so far, the estimate was on the right side of the issue price 78% of the time (89% when it was at least 5% either side), with a median miss of 10.2 percentage points.
