Tata Motors (EV) led the month with 4,186 registrations — 44.7% of the electric car market — ahead of MG Motor on 3,932 (42.0%), a gap of 254 units. Tata Motors (EV) also led November.

How electric is each car maker?
Every car maker's December 2024 volume, split into battery-electric and everything else (petrol, diesel, CNG and hybrid). Leave the EVs out and Maruti Suzuki leads the non-electric cars market with 38.8%.
Among the established makers, MG Motor has gone furthest: 67.3% of its cars were electric.
