Tata Motors (EV) led the month with 4,986 registrations — 63.1% of the electric car market — ahead of MG Motor on 1,645 (20.8%), a gap of 3,341 units. Tata Motors (EV) also led June.
The top three hold 90.7% of the segment; 18 manufacturers registered at least one electric car.

How electric is each car maker?
Every car maker's July 2024 volume, split into battery-electric and everything else (petrol, diesel, CNG and hybrid). Leave the EVs out and Maruti Suzuki leads the non-electric cars market with 38.2%.
Among the established makers, MG Motor has gone furthest: 38.1% of its cars were electric.
