Tata Motors (EV) led the month with 4,402 registrations — 63.1% of the electric car market — ahead of MG Motor on 1,510 (21.7%), a gap of 2,892 units. Tata Motors (EV) also led May.
The top three hold 91.7% of the segment; 17 manufacturers registered at least one electric car.

How electric is each car maker?
Every car maker's June 2024 volume, split into battery-electric and everything else (petrol, diesel, CNG and hybrid). Leave the EVs out and Maruti Suzuki leads the non-electric cars market with 38.1%.
Among the established makers, MG Motor has gone furthest: 37.5% of its cars were electric.
