How July went
India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 1,50,617 vehicles in July 2026. Volumes jumped 25.4% against July 2025, and edged up 3.5% on June. It was the strongest July in that record.
That is 19 consecutive months of year-on-year growth for the segment. Year to date, 10,46,110 units have been registered across 7 months, +24.0% on the same stretch of 2025 (8,43,490). The segment accounted for 5.7% of every vehicle registered in India that month.
July sits inside the monsoon, historically a soft month for urban showroom footfall and a strong one for farm equipment.
