India's CNG and LPG vehicle market has registered 21,487 vehicles in September 2026 so far. This page updates every day as the numbers land.
For scale, August finished at 1,43,945 and September 2025 at 1,17,245. The running total is 18.3% of last September's final figure.
Across the 8 completed months of 2026, 11,90,055 CNG vehicles have been registered, +23.1% on the same stretch of 2025.
Registrations reach Vahan a few days after the sale, so the running total climbs through the month and for a few days after it closes. September is the quiet month before the festive peak — buyers routinely defer registrations into the auspicious October window.
