Across the 8 completed months of 2025 to August, 3,54,019 e-rickshaws have been registered, +1.3% on the same months of 2024.

YC Electric led the month with 3,418 registrations — 7.9% of the e-rickshaw market — ahead of Saera Electric on 2,067 (4.8%), a gap of 1,351 units. YC Electric also led July.
Mahindra Last Mile has gained the most share against August 2024, +0.52pp to 2.4%; Saera Electric has lost the most, −0.96pp to 4.8%.
The top three hold 16.6% of the segment; 475 manufacturers registered at least one e-rickshaw.
