How the Flash Finance technical score is calculated
A transparent 0-100 score: five components of 20 points each, every rule published.
The technical score summarises the current condition of a stock's chart on a 0-100 scale. It is built from five components worth 20 points each, and every rule, with the points it earned, is shown on each stock's Technical Setup page. The score is therefore an audit trail rather than a verdict: you can see exactly why a stock scored 72 and not 85. It describes the chart as it is today. It is not a forecast.

Data and limits
Computed every trading evening from end-of-day NSE prices for about 2,400 NSE-listed stocks (BSE-only companies are not scored). A session is used only once at least 70% of active stocks carry it, so a half-updated day is never scored. Intraday moves are not reflected until the evening build. The weights are a design choice, fixed in advance and not optimised on past returns. That is deliberate: a score tuned to fit history would look better in a backtest and generalise worse.
