India registered 578 electric buses in December 2025, +85.3% on December 2024 and +35.0% on November.
Across the 12 completed months of 2025 to December, 4,929 electric buses have been registered, +20.8% on the same months of 2024.

Switch Mobility led the month with 175 registrations — 30.3% of the electric bus market — ahead of JBM Auto on 134 (23.2%), a gap of 41 units. That is a change at the top: Olectra Greentech led November.
Switch Mobility has gained the most share against December 2024, +20.66pp to 30.3%; JBM Auto has lost the most, −10.47pp to 23.2%.
