Hybrid sales month by month, Q2 FY 2026-27
India's hybrid vehicle market registered 71,336 hybrids in Q2 FY 2026-27 so far. Volumes climbed sharply 28.9% against the 55,359 logged over the same 2 months of Q2 FY 2025-26.
August was the strongest month of the period at 36,840 hybrids and July the quietest at 34,496, an average of 35,668 a month. Every one of those 2 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
August runs into the start of the festive build-up, with dealers stocking ahead of Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi.
