Hybrid sales month by month, CY 2026
India's hybrid vehicle market registered 2,94,143 hybrids in CY 2026 so far. Volumes pushed ahead 24.3% against the 2,36,668 logged over the same 8 months of CY 2025.
January was the strongest month of the period at 47,515 hybrids and May the quietest at 33,608, an average of 36,768 a month. Every one of those 8 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
CY 2026 still has 4 months to run. Held at the pace of the 8 months already counted, it would finish near 4.41 L hybrids — a run rate rather than a forecast, and the festive quarter moves it more than anything else on this page.
