India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 3,86,174 CNG vehicles in Q3 FY 2024-25. Volumes accelerated 26.9% against the 3,04,210 logged over the same 3 months of Q3 FY 2023-24.
October was the strongest month of the period at 1,72,612 CNG vehicles and December the quietest at 94,579, an average of 1,28,725 a month. Every one of those 3 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
October is the festive peak. Navratri and Diwali make it the single biggest registration month of most years, so year-on-year comparisons swing on where the festivals fall.
