India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 3,60,599 CNG vehicles in Q2 FY 2025-26. Volumes pushed ahead 12.2% against the 3,21,501 logged over the same 3 months of Q2 FY 2024-25.
August was the strongest month of the period at 1,23,273 CNG vehicles and September the quietest at 1,17,245, an average of 1,20,200 a month. Every one of those 3 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
August runs into the start of the festive build-up, with dealers stocking ahead of Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi.
