India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 9,33,345 CNG vehicles in H2 FY 2025-26. Volumes rose sharply 19.9% against the 7,78,347 logged over the same 6 months of H2 FY 2024-25.
October was the strongest month of the period at 1,97,379 CNG vehicles and December the quietest at 1,22,151, an average of 1,55,558 a month. Every one of those 6 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
October is the festive peak. Navratri and Diwali make it the single biggest registration month of most years, so year-on-year comparisons swing on where the festivals fall.
H2 FY 2025-26 ran from October 2025 to March 2026 and is closed. Every month in the table below is final, and every comparison on this page is against the matching month of H2 FY 2024-25.
