CNG Vehicle sales month by month, H1 FY 2025-26
India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 6,91,133 CNG vehicles in H1 FY 2025-26. Volumes grew 11.9% against the 6,17,893 logged over the same 6 months of H1 FY 2024-25.
August was the strongest month of the period at 1,23,273 CNG vehicles and May the quietest at 1,06,677, an average of 1,15,189 a month. Every one of those 6 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
August runs into the start of the festive build-up, with dealers stocking ahead of Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi.
