India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 4,76,447 CNG vehicles in Q4 FY 2025-26. Volumes rose sharply 21.3% against the 3,92,875 logged over the same 3 months of Q4 FY 2024-25.
January was the strongest month of the period at 1,76,285 CNG vehicles and February the quietest at 1,45,586, an average of 1,58,816 a month. Every one of those 3 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
January carries the new-year registration rush — buyers who took delivery in late December often register in the first week.
