About this screen
Domestic institutional holding adds up what mutual funds, insurance companies, banks, pension and provident funds and alternative investment funds own. Monthly SIP inflows keep mutual funds buying across the market, so a rise of half a point or more in one quarter usually reflects a choice to hold more of that company, a new fund launch, a placement, or an index change. The change here is the latest shareholding filing against the one a quarter earlier, in percentage points. The company's Ownership section breaks it down by kind of institution and names those above 1%.
