India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 7,78,347 CNG vehicles in H2 FY 2024-25. Volumes more than doubled 150.7% against the 3,10,511 logged over the same 6 months of H2 FY 2023-24.
October was the strongest month of the period at 1,72,306 CNG vehicles and December the quietest at 94,381, an average of 1,29,724 a month. Every one of those 3 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
October is the festive peak. Navratri and Diwali make it the single biggest registration month of most years, so year-on-year comparisons swing on where the festivals fall.
H2 FY 2024-25 ran from October 2024 to March 2025 and is closed. Every month in the table below is final, and every comparison on this page is against the matching month of H2 FY 2023-24.
