CNG Vehicle sales month by month, FY 2024-25
India's CNG and LPG vehicle market registered 13,99,011 CNG vehicles in FY 2024-25. Volumes pushed ahead 22.8% against the 11,39,171 logged over the same 12 months of FY 2023-24.
October was the strongest month of the period at 1,72,612 CNG vehicles and December the quietest at 94,579, an average of 1,16,584 a month. 11 of those 12 months grew on the same month a year earlier.
FY 2024-25 ran from April 2024 to March 2025 and is closed. Every month in the table below is final, and every comparison on this page is against the matching month of FY 2023-24.
CNG vehicles accounted for 5.1% of everything registered in India over the period, up from 4.4% in FY 2023-24. The whole market ran to 2,72,53,707 vehicles over the same window, up 6.4% year on year.
